Cathy Bateman
HR and Process Director
Cathy has over 20 years payroll experience. She has previously worked for British Rail, Schwans Europe and Nova Chemicals where she gained substantial expertise in multi-site payroll management and European & Far Eastern payroll systems.
Cathy joined gap personnel in 2003 as HR and Process Director. Her team is responsible for processing over 3,000 payslips per week as well as delivering all HR functions within the gap personnel group.
Cathy lives in Flintshire with her partner Peter and their 2 cats.

Neil Barrett
Regional Director - Crewe, Telford & Derby
Neil joined gap personnel in February 2007 as Manager of the Crewe office. He was recently been promoted to Regional Manager for the Crewe, Telford and Derby offices as a result of the excellent successes he has delivered in his time with the company. Prior to joining gap, Neil worked for various other recruitment agencies over the past 8 years.
Neil is married and recently had his first son, Alfie. Neil has won gap personnel's prestigious Employee of the Year Award 2007, and in his spare time likes to keep fit through bodybuilding.

Matthew Hull
Regional Director - Yorkshire
Matthew Hull joined gap personnel in April 2009 and is responsible for the smooth running of our Yorkshire divisions.
Matthew has extensive recruitment experience, having worked his way up from Branch Manager through to Director in the North, overseeing branches from Glasgow through to Nottingham, in his previous roles.
Matthew lives in Sheffield with his young family and is a massive football fan, in particular Sheffield United.

Rachel Shipton
Regional Director - South West
Rachel Shipton joined the gap personnel group in April 2009.
Rachel has more than 14 years recruitment experience behind her, having worked within the industry in various capacities including Branch Manager, Area Manager and Business Development Consultant. She previously worked for an independent agency, where she was responsible for the success of 5 of their 27 branches.
Rachel oversees all operations within gap personnel’s South West division, including our branches in Chippenham and Cardiff and our recruitment partner in Bristol.
Rachel lives in Gloucester and in her spare time likes to go to steamrolling rallies with her very own steamroller!

Claire Roberts
Branch Manager - Wrexham Industrial
Claire joined gap personnel in 2001 and has progressed to the position of Branch Manager of Wrexham’s Industrial office, gap personnel's busiest office. Claire is currently working out of one of the clients sites in order to develop a deeper understanding of their business and their requirements.
Claire lives in Wrexham and in her spare time enjoys cooking, going out with friends and reading.

Sue McCluskey
Branch Manager - Preston
Sue joined gap personnel in 2004. She is the Branch Manager for gap personnel’s Preston Industrial office and over the last 3 years has successfully driven the business growth throughout the Lancashire region.
At the 2007 gap annual awards event, Sue won the highly acclaimed Sales Person of the Year award for the North of England, and followed this up by winning Branch Manager of the year in 2008.
Sue lives in Bolton with her husband Dave, and is an avid Bolton Wanderers fan.

Sarah Helms
Branch Manager - Liverpool Industrial
Sarah joined gap personnel in 2003 as an Account Co-ordinator, following 2 years recruitment experience.
Advancing through the ranks of gap Sarah progressed from Account Manager to become the Branch Manager of the Liverpool Industrial Office, where the Branch went on to win 'Branch of the year' in 2008.
Sarah had not taken a day off sick in 6 years until she was struck down with Swine Flu in 2009!
Sarah lives in Cheshire and is a former Judo Champion.

Lisa Meredith
Branch Manager - Stoke
Lisa joined gap personnel in 2003, and has progressed through the organisation to become Branch Manager of the Stoke office, where she is responsible for managing both Industrial and Commercial vacancies.
Lisa lives in Stoke with her 2 cats, Smudge & Salem. In her spare time, Lisa enjoys spending time with her friends and going on holiday abroad.

Branch Manager - Flint
James has over 5 years recruitment experience, currently in the role of Branch Manager. James is predominantly responsible for Business Development in Chester, Deeside and Flintshire region and managing the Flint branch team.
James lives in Chester with his wife and son, and is also a Liverpool supporter.

John Sutcliffe
Driving Sector Manager - North Wales
John is the specialist Driving Sector Manager for the North Wales area and has been recruiting for all types of driving roles for the least 15 years, dealing with clients such as Wincantion, TDG, Boughey Distribution and Iceland.
John joined gap personnel in March 2008 and is based out of the Flint branch.
