Gary Dewhurst Managing Director Gary established gap personnel in 1997. After completing a degree in Business, he gained a post graduate qualification with the Institute of Personnel and Development. He moved into the recruitment sector in 1989, working nationally with HMS, Prime Time and Staff Line, before launching the first gap personnel office in Wrexham in 1997. Gary is very hands on and currently undertakes the role of MD and FD, in addition to focusing on Mergers and Acquisitions. Gary frequently travels the length and breadth of the UK to promote the gap brand and identify suitable partners to further expand the company’s growing portfolio. Gary’s presence in the business and his approachability is one of the factors that enables gap personnel to retain a relatively flat management structure and ensures the company is very dynamic and able to respond quickly to clients’ expectations. Married to Rebecca, he lives in Malpas, Cheshire with three young boys, Sebastian, Sam and Matthew Evander. His hobbies include Golf, Football and Horse Racing.

Mark Roberts UK Operations Director Mark Roberts joined gap personnel in 1998 shortly after leaving university. Over the last 10 years Mark’s dedication and client commitment has enabled him to progress to Main Board Director. Mark is responsible for managing the Wrexham, Crewe and Stoke branches. Mark is still very involved with the day to day branch management and he can be frequently found answering the telephone in branch or may even be found driving temporary staff into work for the 5am shift. Mark lives on the outskirts of Wrexham with his wife Annie, who works in HR. He is a keen traveler, over the last 3 years he has visited Indonesia, Africa, Hong Kong and recently got stuck in Thailand while on holiday there due to the trouble at Bangkok airport. At weekends, Mark regularly jumps on his mountain bike and heads into the Llangollen hills.

Emma Ceballos UK Operations Director Emma joined gap personnel in 1998 as a Graduate Trainee Industrial Account Manager and developed an outstanding talent for recruitment. Over the last 10 years she has advanced through the company and was appointed to the Main Board of Directors in 2006. Emma is directly responsible for the gap personnel branches within Flint, Bangor, Liverpool, Preston and Blackpool and indirectly oversees Yorkshire and Technical. After graduating from Sheffield University with a degree in English Literature & Language, Emma spent 2 years travelling around South East Asia, Australia and New Zealand. Emma lives in South Wirral with her partner Marcus and their children Mia and Noah - as you can imagine she doesn't have much time for hobbies!

Jason Fox UK Operations Director Jason Fox joined gap personnel in 1999 as a Regional Manager after 5 years working for one of the most successful national recruiters in the UK. Jason was the Managing Director of our Franchise & Investment business and over the last 10 years Jason has been focused on growth initiatives & the expansion of our network across the UK. In 2006 he was invited to join the Main Board of Directors. Jason is responsible for managing our branches in Daventry, Bristol, Stockport, Plymouth and also our Scottish operations in Glasgow & Edinburgh. In addition to this he also manages several of our niche recruitment brands such as Elite Appointments, our specialist Financial Services recruitment arm; Templequay Recruitment in the Southwest of England; and Kerr Multilingual, our London based specialist for recruiting multilingual staff across the UK. Jason lives in Cheshire with his wife Jenny and two children, Jamie & Tiffany. He is a keen traveler, golfer & motorsport enthusiast and will often be found working tirelessly to combine all three of these hobbies into a single trip! He is also a keen DIY property developer and is the proud owner of at least 3 tool belts.
