Mark Roberts to run the Virgin Money London Marathon for 2nd Year
As part of gap personnel's commitment to charitable causes, Managing Director, Mark Roberts will be heading down to London on April the 26th to take part in the marathon for the second consecutive year.
The chosen charity will be the Round Table Childrens' Wish, take a look at their website and the fantastic work they do for children with life threatening illness.
In 2014 Mark's time was 4hrs 27 minutes, so he has set himself a challenge to complete this year in under 4 hours!
Mark said "Since Christmas, I have been out training at 5.30am to make sure I get myself better prepared than in 2014. Last year I ran with Rob Webb, and we were very much the enthusiastic beginners, heading out for a few beers in London on the night before, and arriving at the start line equipped with nothing more than a bottle of Lucozade and a chicken sandwich!"
"If anyone has a few spare coppers to contribute to this wonderful charity, then I would really appreciate the support."
