gap’s female football star signs new contract
gap personnel are pleased to announce that Ellis Hillman of our Exeter branch has recently signed a new contract with Yeovil Town Ladies Football Club.
23-year-old Ellis has worked for gap since October 2015, originally starting as a temp in branch, and was taken on in a full time position as a Consultant in late November.
Ellis played a part in the latter stages of the Yeovil 2015 season, both as a full back and wide attacking player. Yeovil’s manager, Jamie Sherwood was pleased to have secured Ellis’ signature, stating “Hillman joined us after returning from the USA with her debut versus Durham away which was one of the best debuts I’ve seen at Yeovil Town Ladies. She came in with such assurance, tenacity and commitment. I fully expect Ellis to continue that form and belief in 2016 and her vibrant energy will make any opponent know they’ve got a busy day.”
Prior to her arrival at Yeovil, Ellis had played for Plymouth Argyle and had also earned a scholarship at North Alabama University.
