A great and exciting opportunity has just come available for an Engagement Manager - Marketing and Communications (based in St Ives Cambridgeshire including travel to Peterborough and possibly Norfolk). You will be responsible for advocating the work of the Healthcare charity, maximising income and support.
The position will include travel around Cambridgeshire and on occasion you will be required to attended events and meetings in Norfolk. You will be required to work alongside the head of fundraising and engagement to develop the strategic direction of marketing and communications to all stakeholders.
My client is well established but is looking for a driven individual to further promote the outstanding work that they provide within the healthcare sector.
·Salary - £29,000 - £31,000 depending on skills and experience
·Hours - 37 hours per week Monday - Friday 0900 - 1700
·Area - Based in St Ives Cambridgeshire including travel to Peterborough and possibly Norfolk (travel is paid at 30p per mile)
Responsibilities - Engagement Manager - Market and Communications
·To effectively monitor, evaluate and report on progress of marketing and communications against agreed performance indicators.
·To develop key messages, creating and maintaining appropriate and consistent language and terminology across all media.
·To manage the charity's brand, ensuring consistency across all internal and external communications.
·To provide line management to the Engagement Officer - Marketing and Communications.
·To generate content across all media, including copy writing and production of marketing materials and key publications both online and in print.
·To develop and manage the website, including generating content, making improvements to functionality, maximising potential and monitoring performance.
·To oversee the management and growth of the organisation's social media presence.
·To increase the charity's profile across media and with key stakeholders through building and managing effective relationships and producing compelling press releases, articles and statements.
·To act as a spokesperson for the charity when necessary.
·To liaise with colleagues to formulate appropriate media responses, providing guidance in media and stakeholder handling.

Skills required - Engagement Manager - Market and Communications
·A proven track record in marketing and communications management, (min. three years)
·Driving licence and access to a vehicle.
·Commutable distance from St Ives Cambridgeshire
·Educated to Degree level or equivalent
·Experience across a variety of marketing and communications channels, using a variety of tools and media
·Experience of writing copy and producing material for a variety of audiences in line with brand guidelines
·Experience of team planning, including line management,
·Experience of strategy development
·Experience of project and campaign management from inception to completion
·Experience working in a customer-focused environment and/or delivering excellent supporter care
·Experience building, managing and developing relationships with key stakeholders including media
·Competitive salary - £29,000 - £31,000 depending on skills and experience.
