You will be responsible for advocating the work of the Healthcare charity, maximising income and support.
The position will include travel around Cambridgeshire and you will be required to attended events and harness the support of the local community. You will be required to work under the direction of the head of fundraising and engagement to develop the strategic direction of marketing and communications to all stakeholders.

·Salary - £24,000 - £26,000 depending on skills and experience.
·Hours - 37 hours per week with the flexibility to work evenings and weekends when required.
·Area - Based in St Ives Cambridgeshire including travel around Cambridgeshire (travel is paid at 30p per mile).
Responsibilities - Fundraising Officer - Community
·To work alongside Senior Managers and other members of the Fundraising and Engagement team in developing the strategic direction of fundraising.
·To work with the Fundraising and Engagement Manager to develop a community fundraising strategy.
·To effectively monitor and report on community fundraising streams and work towards income generation targets.
·To co-ordinate all community fundraising activity.
·To represent the charity and present at events as required.
·To work in collaboration with other teams internally to co-ordinate event attendance and resources.
·To steward existing partnerships and to secure new partnerships and community support for the charity.
·To develop and project manage a calendar of fundraising events and challenges to support the charity.
·To work alongside appropriate colleagues to enable effective and efficient volunteer support of fundraising.
·To play an active role in the Fundraising and Engagement team and across the charity, contributing ideas and solutions to regular meetings.

Skills required - Fundraising Officer - Community
·Experience building, managing and developing relationships with key stakeholders including media
·A proven track record in marketing and communications, (min. three years)
·Experience across a variety of marketing and communications channels, using a variety of tools and media
·Experience of writing copy and producing material for a variety of audiences
·Experience of team planning, including line management
·Experience of strategy development
·Experience of project and campaign management from inception to completion
·Experience working in a customer-focused environment and/or delivering excellent supporter care
·Experience building, managing and developing relationships with key stakeholders including media.
