Gap Professional have a new exciting Trust Assistant opportunity with a highly regarded law firm based in Warwick.
This is a full time, permanent role based in a Warwick working Monday to Friday and offers a very competitive salary.
The duties of this role will include but not be limited to:
·Income tax and capital gains for individuals and estates
·Administration of Trusts
·Maintaining records, preparing trust accounts and completing tax returns
·Calculating payments for income and capital gains tax, completing IHT forms and calculating tax where necessary
·Preparing Charity accounts and annual returns
·Maintaining capital gains records for trust and investment clients
·Dealing with Deputyship and Attorneyship cases.
·Compliance including preparation of Deputyship Reports, dealing with financial affairs of Patients, liaising with 3rd parties
·Administration of trustee companies Employee Benefit Trusts.
·Preparation of VAT Returns
·Companies House/HMRC submissions i.e. accounts, annual returns
·Calculating loan interest
·Preparing trust accounts and submitting tax returns if required
·Invoicing

The Ideal candidate will be:
·Experienced in working with Tax
·Motivated and proactive in consistently delivering the highest standard of work
·Have a keen eye for attention to detail
·People focused with the ability to build strong working relationships
