Facilities Officer

There is a brand-new opportunity for an experienced Facilities Officer to join an award-winning accountancy firm based local to Norwich, Norfolk. You will be responsible for making sure all Facilities are compliant with health and safety regulations. The role will require you to work Monday to Friday, 8.45am-5.15pm, however these hours can be flexible for the right candidate.

Duties of the Facilities Officer:

• You will be responsible for delivering compliance with statutory health and safety regulations
• You will be responsible for the day to day maintenance issues and making sure it complies with legal requirements
• You will be responsible for the health and safety induction for all new staff
• You will be responsible for overseeing the installation of new equipment
• You will be responsible for negotiating and renewing contracts
• You will be the out of hours emergency contact
• Due to the nature of the role, you are required to have your own transport as you will be travelling to other offices within Norfolk

Experience required for the Facilities Officer:

• A qualification in IOSH Health and Safety or equivalent would be ideal
• Experience in a previous facilities role would be beneficial
• You must be proficient with all Microsoft applications
• You must be a confident communicator who enjoys a challenge
• You must be proactive and be able to use your own initiative
