Gap Personnel are representing a family owned company who supply a wide range of machinery from garden mowers and chainsaws to combined harvesters and construction excavators across 19 country stores and they currently have an opportunity for a Sales Administrator to support the Groundcare General Sales Manager at their Head Office in Ulting, NR Maldon.

Reporting directly to the Groundcare General Sales Manager, you will be responsible for assisting in the efficient running of the Groundcare Sales office and delivering an excellent service in all daily operations of the department. You will be involved in the sales planning web shop and undertake general administration duties, but also have the flexibility to support the showroom and cover when required

Skills Required for the Sales Administrator Position Include:

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to deal diplomatically with customers and colleagues in a polite and professional manner
• Excellent attention to detail
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft office to include Word and Excel
• Ability to communicate to all levels of the business
• Act with discretion when dealing with matters of a confidential nature
• Be organized with the ability to multitask efficiently
• Have a flexible and approachable manner
• Be self-motivated with the ability to work well with others
• Be confident and show initiative
• First class keyboard and PC skills
• Accuracy with numbers and handling of cash

The hours are 40hrs per week - 8am to 5pm, Tuesday to Friday and Saturday 8am to 4pm (1hr unpaid lunch), and due to the location you will need to have your own transport.
