The Company
A well-established company based in Selby who are experiencing a period of growth so would like someone to support their sales department.
Working in an open plan office environment with 9 other people.
The Role
Be part of a small team that is the first point of contact for potential, new and existing customers; provide a comprehensive customer service support, ensuring customers' needs and expectations are always exceeded. Proactively promote by phone the full company portfolio to potential, new and existing customers across the UK. To provide administrative support to the Sales team.
Duties
Internal Sales
·Build strong relationships with potential, new and existing customers
·Manage and update a customer database using the Sage CRM system
·Generate business leads by both up selling to an existing account base and also by developing new trading relationships
·Make outbound B2B sales calls, developing your own account portfolio
·Responsible for the smooth running of the sales administration function including samples, sales quotations and reporting of market intelligence
·Provide detailed reporting on sales activities using sales tools available
·Support Sales Team based on Business Intelligence tools

Customer Service Support
·Key contact for potential, new and existing customers. Deal with product enquiries in an efficient and timely manner ensuring customer satisfaction at all times
·Process customer orders and work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely delivery of goods
·Support and ensure seamless liaison with the finance team to ensure a timely and accurate production of relevant documents

Skills/Knowledge
·Self-motivated and drive
·Ability to work decisively under pressure
·Proven experience within a sales environment
·Proven negotiation skills
·Computer literate, Microsoft office and previous experience in Sage CRM system preferred
·Flexible with a can do' attitude
·Ability to plan and organise a variety of work with conflicting demands
