Founded in 1898, our client is a family owned company who supplies a wide range of machinery from garden mowers and chainsaws to combined harvesters and construction excavators as well as selling a huge selection of clothing, footwear, garden sundries and DIY products across 19 country stores and Gap Professional are currently recruiting for an experienced Administrator to join the Service team at their Framlingham Branch based in Suffolk.

Duties for the Service Administrator position include:

• Administration support to Service Manager
• Answer department telephones in a professional manner
• Liaise with members of the public on a day to day basis at the service counter in relation to the repair and maintenance of Agricultural and Groundcare machinery
• Moving domestic machinery
• Assist with reports, raising of job cards, completion of job cards and invoicing
• Updating Service Technician timesheets on to the system and administering the clock cards
• Maintaining all records efficiently and effectively as required
• Covering branch administration as required during annual leave

Skills Required for the Service Administrator Position Include:

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to deal diplomatically with customers and colleagues in a polite and professional manner
• Customer Service and Administration Experience Essential
• Be organized with the ability to multitask efficiently
• Have a flexible and approachable manner
• Knowledge of Microsoft office to include Word and Excel
• Accuracy with numbers and handling of cash

The hours are 40hrs per week - 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday (1hr unpaid lunch), and due to the location, you will need to have your own transport.
