Our client within the Agricultural sector based close to Market Deeping, Lincolnshire are seeking a full time permanent Farm Worker to join their busy tight knit team. The role will require you to work 45 hours over 6 days. This is an ideal position for a motivated person who has experience of Farming and Agriculture however experience in not essential as full training will be provided.
This is a full time, permanent role and with this a competitive salary of £22,584 per annum with employee benefits after probationary period.
Duties of the Production Operative:
·Keep meal houses clean and tidy
·Assist with minor farm maintenance
·Bed up wet litter as required
·Ensure compliance with company health and safety policy
·A fixability to shift working as it will be required to work early, late and some weekend working
·Assist in the running of the generator and testing of the alarm settings
·Bag up all fallen stock and culls
·Transfer all fallen stock and culls to dedicated bins and lock
·Daily tidying and cleaning
·Ensure correct PPE is used for specific tasks
Experience required for the Production Operative:
·Be a commutable distance from Market Deeping, Lincolnshire
·Sound stock management background
·Organised and detailed approach to duties
·Ability to prioritise duties/tasks with the guidance of the Farm Manager
·Ability to work as part of a team as well as on own initiative
