The duties for the Receptionist position will involve providing a first class customer service as first point of contact between the business and its customers and suppliers. In addition, the role responsibilities will be to cover switchboard and ad hoc administrative duties as required.
Skills required for the Reception Position Include:
vFirst class communication skills with the ability to deal diplomatically with customers during busy periods both face to face and on the telephone
vAbility to communicate to all levels of the business
vAct with discretion when dealing with matters of a confidential nature
vFirst class keyboard and PC skills
vExtensive knowledge of Microsoft office to include Word and Excel
vAttention to detail and be organised to manage own workload
vAble to work on initiative for improvements
The hours are 33hrs per week - 8am to 5.30pm Monday and Friday (with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break) and 12.30pm to 5.30pm and Tuesday to Thursday. You will also be required to work at least 2 Saturday mornings per month for which you will receive overtime which is paid at flat rate.
