Are you an established Electronic Assembly Person who is looking for a new and exciting challenge? If so then look no further! A great and exciting opportunity has just come available for an Electronic Assembly Person located near to St Neots, Cambridgeshire providing a timely, efficient assembly of PCB using soldering and wiring skills to complete the finished product before dispatch.
My client is well established within the manufacture and distribution of PCB's within the aerospace industry. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years soldering experience and be able to interpret complex technical drawings.

·Salary - Up to £10 per hour.
·Hours - 39 hours per week Monday to Thursday 0800 - 1700 Friday 0800 - 1300
·Area - Located near to St Neots, Cambridgeshire.
·This is a permanent full-time position.

Responsibilities - Electronic Assembly Person

·To interpret and apply all drawings, instructions and documentation related to the manufacturing of electronic products.
·To assemble, solder and wire all PCB assemblies and units to IPC-JSTD-001 and relevant modules.
·To ensure inbuilt quality by following routers and inspecting own workmanship.
·To have a keen eye for detail and look for opportunities for continuous improvement; working to best practice.
·To conformal coat and apply adhesives to product as specified in manufacturing drawings.
·To proactively assist the Production Supervisor to ensure the smooth running of the department and raise any issues in a timely manner.
·To assist colleagues where required.
·To undergo training to remain IPC certified.
·Be apart of the bigger team and vision.

Skills required - Electronic Assembly Person

·Experience of working to class 3 on Power boards or aerospace products
·Excellent communication skills
·At least 2 years PTH soldering experience
·Ability to interpret complex technical drawings
·Surface mount soldering experience down to 04/05 component size
·Ability to work independently while collaborating in a team environment
·Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
·Must be a commutable distance from St Neots, Cambridgeshire
