Position: Electrical biased Multi Skilled Engineer
Salary: £35k
Location: Seaton Ross

The company you will be working for are an multi award winning food production company based at Seaton Ross, the position has become available due to company growth.

You will get to work in their modern processing facility, where health and safety is paramount.

My client's maintenance team are seeking an Electrical biased Multi Skilled Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.

• Largely electrical biased - process control with PLC, inverter, servo, instrumentation and data logging skills applicable to modern high-speed packaging equipment
• 17th Edition
• PLCs - mostly Siemens, and also Allen Bradley and Mitsubishi
• Focus will be on process in the sense of plant running not design. Dealing with temp controls, temp data loggers and instrumentation like pressure transmitters, flow controls etc
• Someone who can trouble shoot, find a solution, choose kit, set it up/install, set parameters and make improvements, not just check a temperature gauge if it's not working and replace it
• To comply with and help maintain health and safety standards within the Engineering and Production Departments
• To assist with risk assessments
• Compliance with Electricity at Works Act
• To carry out breakdown repairs, planned maintenance and one-off improvements/modifications to equipment, services and buildings
• To record all work on equipment for entry into the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) system
• To ensure parts are ordered when needed or to replace parts used from stock
• Work as a team player within the Engineering department providing a customer service-based relationship with all members of the production team
• Attend and contribute to any meetings, training courses etc to aid development and maintain a continuous improvement philosophy
• Ensure all electrical drawings, documentation and test certificates are kept up to date with assistance from Engineering Manager

The hours of work are rotating between 7.00am to 4.00pm or 9.00am to 6.00pm dependant on your shift for that week and working one weekend in every two, with flexible time off to be given on the week after this.
