Our client is a very successful top-quality drainage services organisation established for over 25 years. Due to business growth Gap Professional have been asked to represent this client exclusively in the search for a fleet Vehicle Technician who will work on the company's fleet of vehicles and report directly to the Workshop Manager. This position will be based at my client's head office situated in Rochford.

Working Hours:
-Mon - Fri 7am to 4.30pm

The main duties for the Vehicle Technician/Mechanic will be to take responsibility of Vehicles/equipment and accessories:

-By monitoring service and inspection requirements
-Carrying out services and inspections in a timely manner
-Carry out repairs (within your capabilities)
-Provide relevant information to the workshop manager for any parts or equipment to be ordered.
-Provide the Transport & Accreditation Manager with any relevant information e.g. inspection dates for recording and audit.

You will also be required to assist the HGV fitter when required.

Skills required for the Vehicle Technician/Mechanic position include:

-Minimum Level 2 NVQ
-Experience of working with car/light commercial vehicles
