Purchasing Administrator
Our close knit and growing client within manufacturing based local to Snetterton, Norfolk are seeking a Purchasing Administrator to join the team. Working within the procurement team you will be responsible for the administration of purchase orders from placement to receipt, the maintenance of product and pricing details and stock monitoring and reporting. The role will require you to work Monday to Friday, 9am-5:30pm.


Duties of the Purchasing Administrator include:
• Calculating quantities and items to be ordered (often bespoke)
• Raising purchase orders
• Authorising or querying supplier invoices
• Communicating with all suppliers
• Review and report on all supplier activity
• Managing import arrivals and communicating the same with warehouse team
• Material or product sourcing for bespoke unusual client requests.
• Update system with all aspects of Purchase Order Acknowledgements & Shipping Notifications

Skills required for the Purchasing Administrator include:
• You will have previous experience in a purchasing administrator role or similar
• Working knowledge of materials (woods, metals, glass etc) would be greatly advantageous
• You will have excellent attention to detail and be proficient with using excel and data input
• A confident communicator who possess great negotiation skills
• Due to the location of the role based local to Snetterton, Norfolk your own transport is essential
