Duties and responsibilities for the Trade Counter Team Leader position:
§Leadership and guidance of the team on a day to day basis to help achieve set KPI targets
§Drive sales and profitability forward by delivering outstanding customer service through understanding their needs and efficiently handling any customer escalations
§Control costs via budgeting and forecasting without compromising the customer experience
§Work with the Warehouse team to ensure stock control systems are managed correctly within company guidelines
§Manage Health and Safety within the Trade Counter department
§Embrace the WOW culture and effectively lead your team to represent the same values
§Regular communication, coaching and development of the team
§Understand the systems and warehouse processes
§Communication with the Category Management team and contribution to in store promotions and effective add selling products to maximise sales
§Responsibility for Trade Counter opening/closing, incoming monies, stock control and any admin duties
The ideal candidate for the Trade Counter Team Leader:
§Customer service / sales experience
§A good team player who is prepared to cover core hours and operate shift patterns to suit business needs
§Able to prioritise tasks, deliver to deadlines and manage conflicting demands
§Be constantly looking for ways to WOW our customers
§Embody strong and consistent leadership skills
§Help, motivate and inspire others to make them see what they are capable of achieving
§Create conditions for people to grow and develop for themselves
§Be self-motivated, and push hard to achieve goals
§Experience within the electrical industry is advantageous
