The Assistant Financial Controller will be responsible for supporting all financial queries in relation to site performance.
As well the day to day finance function, you will be able within your role to challenge costs, reporting on those costs as well as maintaining and developing the system of financial controls.

Some key functions include:
·Supporting the maintenance and development of an effective accounting function and financial control environment
·Supporting the FC in General Ledger posting in relation to Driffield site.
·Provision of timely and accurate financial information.
·Support the Review and maintenance of Bills of Materials (BOMs).
·Support the Gross margin reporting and full variance analysis (COGs model reporting).
·Support the FC in Ensuring that all reporting/submission deadlines and requirements are met.
·Help with and preparation of monthly accounts pack for monthly Board meetings
·Review and development reporting to support management decision making.
·Support Management and review of key balance sheet control accounts (Stock, Capex, GRNIs).
·Development of working capital reporting and driving increased efficiency.
·Support the production of annual budget.
·Help drive cost improvement throughout the business.
·Help Improve processes by maximising use of system.
·Maintain and develop relationships with third parties.
·Support the site senior management team and wider business as necessary.
·Month end stock reconciliations across multiple ERP systems
·Analysis of stock transfers between systems
·Intercompany reconciliations
·Divisional recharges (labour and storage)
·Monthly distribution recharge analysis to other divisions
·Development of system reporting
·Other Ad hoc projects as required.

Skills/Experience
· Part Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, AAT)
· Strong IT and analytical skills
· Ability to work to deadlines
·Attention to detail is key along with your IT skills. Microsoft Dynamics 365 knowledge is desirable
·but not essential.
You will ideally have:
· Experience of FMCG working environment
· Experience of working in warehousing / distribution/production environment
Job Duties:
·Monitoring company accounts and conducting quarterly reviews
·Profit-and-loss statements
·Cost reduction proposals
·Budgets and forecasting activities
·Preparing year-end file for audit and dealing with queries
