We are looking for an FLT Driver/Mill Operative to work within busy feed mill for one of our Clients based near Long Stratton in Norfolk.

The role will be split 50/50 between production and FLT duties.

The Role & Tasks:
• Loading and unloading vehicles using Counterbalance FLT
• Moving product to the storage areas, feed production with necessary items using FLT
• Carry out all in-process quality checks in accordance with the appropriate schedules and report problems as they occur
• Follow the recipe
• Manually lift 15 - 25kg bags
• Operate in-house system as required for bagging intake, process control.
• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping and hygiene within your working area
• Provide cover for other team members when requested
• Perform any other tasks as may be delegated from time to time by Mill Manager

Working hours:
Monday to Friday rotating earlies and lates.
Earlies - 06:00am to 14:00pm,
Lates - 14:00pm to 22:00pm, however flexibility will be required to work some overtime hours or some weekends occasionally.

Pay rate:
£9.53 per hour, with enhanced Overtime and Saturday rates.

This is temporary on-going role, which could lead to a full time position with the company for the right candidate.

The Candidate:
• In date and valid Counterbalance FLT licence
• At least 6 months experience using FLT
• Physically strong and able to lift heavy items regularly
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritise workload
• Own transport due to location and working hours
