Registered Manager – Disabilities, Mental Health and Support Needs

A great and exciting opportunity has just come available for a Registered Manager – Disabilities, Mental Health and Support Needs (based in Wordsley, West Midlands) for an established service supporting 10 service users. The service will provide support for adults with autism, or a complex learning disabilities or Mental Health conditions.

My client is well established and has achieved a good rating from the CQC in other services. They are looking for a Registered Manager – Disabilities and Support Needs to oversee the service and maintain the high standards that are embedded throughout their values and service delivery.

 

Salary - £30,000

Hours – Monday – Friday 0900 – 1700 but will need to participate in the on-call rota

Area – Located in Wordsley, West Midlands

Position - Permanent position  

 

Responsibilities – Registered Manager – Disabilities, Mental Health and Support Needs



To manage all aspects of the home and to ensure that CQC regulations and policies are adhered to at all time.

To oversee the financial budgets and staffing for the home.

To ensure that the safety and dignity of service users is upheld at all times.

To oversee staff supervisions and staff development.

To enable service users to live as independently as possible.

To promote values and standards of the service provider.

 

Skills required – Registered Manager – Disabilities, Mental Health and Support Needs

 

You will need to have previous experience as a Manager or a similar senior role within the care industry.
This role requires a minimum of an NVQ/Diploma Level 5 in Health & Social Care qualification.  
The position requires the candidate to be computer literate, good numeracy and literacy skills, with strong interpersonal and customer service skills, and as well as being confident and reliable, they must have a strong desire to succeed.

Experienced in supporting service users that display challenging behaviour

Have a sound and working knowledge of Mental Health recovery models   

Must be a commutable distance from Wordsley, West Midlands.
