ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT / EXETER – PERMANENT ROLE
Location: Exeter, EX2
Assignment: Permanent contract
Hours: Monday to Friday 09:00am – 17:00pm
Salary: £25,000 per annum
Duties as an Accounts Assistant:
- Reconcile bank statements
- Review and adhere to department budgets
- Prepare accounts payable
- Invoice processing
- Prepare and run payroll for employees
- Assist with preparation of tax payments
- Assist with credit control
- Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns
- Liaise with accountants and provide information needed
- Provide financial information when requested to the management teams
- Provide administration support to the office including answering phones
About you:
- Organised approach to work
- Motivated and deadline driven
- A great team player
- Experience of working within a busy finance department
- A good working knowledge of Zero
- Experience with using Excel, Word and Outlook
- Able to work well under pressure
- Ideally be AAT Level 3 qualified
