Gap Personnel (operating as an employment business) are currently recruiting for an Assembly Operative, based in Marsh Barton, Exeter.
Our client is a well-established family run business, who pride themselves on finding the best fit for the team, where you will have the opportunity to undertake great training and continue learning and gaining new skills and knowledge every day.
You will play the crucial role in the production process and will be working on the assembly benches, assembling and constructing parts for large home products, including panels, doors, cupboards etc. You will be working with large and small parts.
Working with power hand tools and other materials, you need to be good with your hands, have good attention to detail and be accurate and precise.
Previous assembly/warehouse experience ideally, but not essential. As you will receive full training.
Hours of work will be 8am – 4:30pm whilst training, then move to 9:30-6pm, Monday – Thursday, with an early finish on Fridays.
Pay Rate: £8.60 per hour
Temporary to Permanent opportunity after a successful 12-week period.
