Our client is based in Wrexham is currently looking for a Chef to join their team on a temp to perm basis.


Duties to include;

  • Prepare and cook food, ensuring effective use of ingredients
  • Assist the Head Chef in the kitchen operation.
  • Look at the development and planning of future menus, including future food trends
  • Ensuring food standards and cost are agreed
  • Ensure stock, deliveries and wastage are all checked and recorded in line with company and food standards
  • Working in a Industrial canteen environment and serving standard favourites



Successful candidates;

  • Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2, they are desriable with all current health, safety and hygiene related regulations for working in a kitchen.
  • Must be able to demonstrate competency within an industrial kitchen environment.
  • Will take Food Hygiene Level 2 Hygiene certificate if out of date
  • Team player with the ability to manage a team when Head Chef is absent


Working Hours;

7am - 3pm


Pay rate;

  • £11.50 per hour
