CNC MACHINE OPERATOR / CREDITON – PERMANENT OPPORTUNITY

Location: Lord Meadow Industrial Estate, Crediton
Assignment: Permanent contract
Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00am – 17:00pm
Pay: Up to £25,376 per annum

As a CNC Machine Operator you will be responsible for the safe operating of the CNC mills within the manufacturing department. The role will include maintaining production throughout the day, ensuring all components are to the correct specification and that the machine and work area are maintained in a clean and ordered fashion.

Duties as a CNC Machine Operator:

  • Safe operation of CNC and manual machines to achieve the required hourly output
  • Record all paperwork to correct level and format
  • Maintain the required quality throughout the batch
  • Plan proactively to minimize downtime
  • Following work order instructions
  • Undertaking in cycle deburring where possible
  • Changing tool inserts when and where appropriate
  • Recording output and scrap accurately
  • Dimensional inspection of components
