The nursing home is registered for up to 45 residents, some of which have Dementia and associated health needs which require Nursing care. The Deputy Manager will be expected to work along-side the Registered Manager in making sure all CQC standards are adhered to and residents are cared for in a person-centered manner. You will also be guiding the Care Team in their day to day work and leading by example.
The role is full time, 40 hours per week, and permanent and it is paid at £19 per hour which is the equivalent to NHS Band 7 rates of pay and will include some weekend work.
Main requirements for the role:
- Registered Nurse qualification with an active PIN
- Previous experience working with elderly/ palliative care residents
- Experience in managing and leading care teams
- Management qualification or willingness to undertake this.
