DRIVERS MATE'S / HOME DELIVERY PORTERS (LEEDS)
gap personnel (operating as an employment business) are currently recruiting for 10 X DRIVES MATE’S for our client based in the Leeds (LS9) Location on a temporary basis as and when required.
This role will be going out on the road to help deliver items bought by customers, which require 2 people to deliver. The type of deliveries can vary from TV's and surround sound systems, to beds, fridges and freezers. A big part of this job is not only the delivery of large items, but the high standards of customer service skills that are required by the company.
You will be required to use a hand-held terminal to book in and book out deliveries, plan routes and speak on the phone with customers prior to their designated delivery slots.
Prior to starting work with them, you will be required to take part in an induction day, talking you through and showing you how they like their porters to deal with the general public.
As with any driving/delivery roles, please be aware some shifts may run over the normal working hours due to traffic/road issues.
To be successful for this role you MUST have a good strong work background with continuous employment. Previous experience would be an advantage but not necessary.
WORKING HOURS WILL BE:
2 shifts are available but you must be flexible
11 hour shifts
Days or nights
Pay rate is at £8.50ph!
