EXPORT COMPLIANCE ADMINISTRATOR / EXETER – PERMANENT ROLE
Location: Sowton Industrial Estate, Exeter
Assignment: Permanent contract
Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00am – 16:30pm
Salary: £21,500 per annum
Reporting to the Group Freight Manager you will be working within the Group Freight Department being responsible for the accurate administration of post-export compliance documentations, retrieval of supporting documents and the updating of records within the current HMRC framework, company guidelines and standards.
Duties as an Export Compliance Administrator:
- Responsible for obtaining and checking post-export documentation in line with HMRC legal requirements
- Responsible for checking and maintaining export systems and documents to ensure details are recorded accurately
- Responsible for checking the accuracy of freight agents export documentation and import documentation including customs entries / invoices / freight and transport documents
- Responsible for gathering post-compliance data including invoices, duty invoices, certificate of shipments and export transport documents
- Monitor and control compliance data in SDS system
- Liaise directly with freight agents to rectify any errors
- Responsible for ensuring all documentation is collated for further internal compliance audits
- Assist with import administration as and when required

- Accurate administration and keyboard skills
- Well organized
- Knowledge of export related shipments would be advantageous
