Our client based in the Wrexham area are looking for a Finance and Customer Service executive to join their team immediately on a 6-month basis. The main role will be to contribute and to ensure the highest standards of financial control and customer service are maintained in line with the company’s Financial, Food Safety and Quality objectives.
Monday – Thursday / 9.00am-5.00pm or 8.30am-4.30pm /32 hours per week
£11.00 per hour
Administer all customer orders and invoices in a timely manner in line with the company’s procedures and credit limits. Ensure correct quantities and pricing.
Proactively deal with customer service queries by telephone and email to ensure the highest standards of Customer Satisfaction, including communication with Manufacturing Partners (suppliers).
Maintain stock management and controls in line with the company’s financial, service and quality requirements.
Maintain pricing data (Masterfiles) in line with agreed protocols. Ensure appropriate Set up and Change control procedures are followed in line with the company’s Food Safety, Quality and Financial objectives.
Action Daily Banking reconciliation
Accurately maintain Sales and Purchase ledgers. Produce customer and supplier statements and resolve queries
Support office management and Sales team through the preparation of Management Information
Preparation of Supplier Payment Runs, Expenses and Statutory returns ready for approval by the Finance Manager
Ensure Credit Control Process and control through reporting and proactive communications with customers in line with agreed credit limits.
Filing of customer, supplier and financial information and records
General administrative duties as required by the Customer Service and Finance Manager
The ideal candidate:
Well-developed people and communication skills
Excellent organisation skills
Advanced Microsoft Office skills
Ideally experienced using Sage 50
Purchase and sales ledger experience
Basic credit control experience
Experience working in a customer service-based role
A trustworthy, honest and hardworking mind set
Must be able to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
The ability to adapt, multi-task and work under pressure maintaining accuracy
