An 8 week intense training plan is in place, you don’t have to have work in IT Support previously. You could have a salary of £27,000pa and have autonomy in your role.

gap professional acting as an employment business are currently recruiting for a Finance Support Services Consultant to work for a global market leading IT software company. You will be based nearYeovil, Somerset. The purpose of the role is to to provide full support and training of products to their clients, ensuring excellence of customer service and adherence to the company’s processes and systems. To administer the company’s support system.

 

The Hours: You will be required to work on a shift basis working one full week of the same hours and then the week will change to the next one.

Shift A: Sunday – Friday 10pm – 6am

Shift B: Monday – Friday 6am – 2pm

Shift C: Monday – Friday Day shift 9am – 500pm.

 

In addition there will be Sunday hours (paid at double time) from 5.00am – 1.00pm. This would be done on a voluntary rota, probably one a month. You will also be required to work some bank holidays where you will then have a day back in lieu and be paid double time for that shift.

The salary is £25,000-£27,000pa dependant on experience. The one Sunday per month worked is paid extra as overtime.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Establish and maintain good relationships with clients during the course of day-to-day duties to ensure a long term commitment to the company and its products.

Take inbound customer support calls, inbound chat dialogue, and action incoming finance cases in a timely fashion. Assume responsibility for following up, ensuring that all problems are provided with a solution, or escalated appropriately.

To work shifts within the Finance Support team in line with current business requirements.

Ensure all support communications, user suggestions and bug reports are accurately recorded using the company’s support systems.

Manage personal workload ensuring that all outstanding support calls meet defined procedures and SLAs. Escalate calls that will breach SLAs or might be otherwise problematic to the Support Services Senior Consultant.

Assist with the migration of customer data to enable deployment of solutions in client sites.

Assist in the development and maintenance of syllabus-based training material to support the delivery of training for the software.

Assist in the production of product documentation including videos and webinar sessions.

Support colleagues and share department workload and knowledge.

Maintain knowledge of software and undertake ongoing training and development of personal skills.

 

Role Desirable Requirements:

Excellent IT literacy with sound working knowledge of MS Office products

Basic Knowledge of working with MS SQL and using Crystal Reports and Stimulsoft

Sound understanding and practical experience of accounting practice

Sound working knowledge of Accounts and Payroll software

Sound understanding and practical experience of accounting practice

Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, flexibly, under pressure, including a mix of own projects and management

Excellent customer service abilities and instincts

Good team worker

Flexibility to work a variety of shifts

Excellent coaching skills

Ability to influence peers and internal staff

Clean driving licence and ability to drive cars in the UK and overseas to visit clients as required
