gap personnel (operating as an employment business) are currently recruiting for 2 finishing production operatives on a temporary ongoing assignment based in Sowton Industrial Estate, Exeter.
Within the role you will be responsible for the cleaning and finishing of bespoke components in multiple ways such as: High pressure jetting, grinding, fine grinding, deburring and hand finishing.
To be considered for this role you will need to be able to demonstrate the following:
  • Previous experience within a similar role
  • Experience of using finishing tools and instrumentations
  • Organised and Self Motivated
  • Methodical and logical
  • Good attention to detail
  • Good awareness of your surroundings
  • Adhering to strict Health and Safety regulations
Working Hours and Pay Rate:
  • During training: Monday to Friday, 6am – 2pm / 2pm – 10pm (rotational)
  • Once trained: Monday to Friday, 6am – 2pm / 2pm – 10pm / 10pm – 6am (rotational)
  • Basic Hours – £11.00ph AM / £11.50ph PM / £12.00ph NIGHTS
  • Overtime Rate - £13.30ph to £20,00ph
