Multi- skilled associate / FLT Driver

Gap personnel, acting as an employment business, are recruiting on behalf of Book Depository based in Quedgeley, Gloucester.

During a period of demand, there is an opportunity for a Multi- skilled associate / FLT Driver to join the team on a part-time, ongoing basis on a night shift.

You will be working as part of a team to ensure centre operations are fulfilled as needed. The job will involve doing various tasks in the opening area, sortation, various other tasks within the yard area, including scanning & packing departments, flexibility in duties is essential as it is a multi-skilled role & forklift work is a small part of the overall role, although may be needed at times.

Reporting to the Team Leader you will be responsible for the off-loading of lorries, palliated storage and moving of stock around the warehouse. The role may also involve some basic updating of manual and computerised warehousing records.

Shifts: Monday -Friday 20:00pm -04:30am

Hourly Rate:  £10.15 per hour + £1.75 NSA

Overtime is paid at £15.25per hour + £1.75 NSA

The successful candidates must have a good level of English, be flexible in work duties, demonstrate a strong work ethic as well as an eye for detail and excellent timekeeping.
