Furniture Assembly Operatives

Gap personnel (operating as an employment business) are currently recruiting for our client based in the Deeside area. We are looking to recruit Furniture Assembly Operatives on a temporary to permanent basis.

Pay & Hours of Work

• £10.50 per hour
• Monday to Friday
• Weekly rotating shifts - 6am – 2pm and 2pm – 10pm

Responsibilities

• Assembling components and ensuring that all parts are fitted correctly
• Work efficiently with other members of the team to assemble products
• Keep a clean and tidy workspace
• Meet all safety requirements of the company and industry
• Identify any defective items and handle them according to established procedures
• Conserve resources and supplies to facilitate minimum waste
• Ability to use reason to solve problems as they rise

Skills Required

• Attention to detail
• Good hand-eye coordination
• Ability to lift light weights
• Able to perform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for extended periods of time
• Team Player
