This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established, accomplished and successful touring, live events organisation.
A key leadership role within the organisation driving commercial development, strategy and planning, and overseeing the Day to Day operations.
You will help develop the vision to map out a new commercial growth for the organisation and its Brand development, providing broad strategic, financial and operational leadership to the wider organisation.
Leading both the touring operation and Head Office team, you will ensure the smooth running of the business and adhere to best practices.
Working closely with a range of strong personalities, you would help develop and execute the business strategy, as we seek to expand the reach of the Brand.
You will need to be a charismatic and inspiring leader who will instil a high performance culture within difficult surroundings and build an environment where you can attract, retain and develop talent, especially as the company is expanding its operations and geographical reach.
Key Responsibilities include:
Adeptly leading both centralised head office functions and mobile teams, developing a culture of high-performance
Supporting development of growth strategy and execute the overall business strategy
Working closely with all teams across the business, supporting a diverse range of activities
Ensuring effective communication across all teams, ensuring the smooth running of the business
Responsibility for budgets, recruitment/staffing and Health & Safety
Optimise logistics planning and execution
Developing the management structure underneath you, to support successful business growth
Acting as the face of the business, managing relationships with key stakeholders, owners, investors, external suppliers and key customers
Skills, Experience & Attributes Sought:
Willingness to spend periods away from home with the touring operation between April & September.
Proven, progressive experience in a multi-faceted leadership role (c10 years +)
Degree Level Education (MBA an advantage)
Strong leadership skills and a proven ability to effectively manage a diverse employee-base in challenging situations
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to engage others and build relationships at all levels.
Ability to demonstrate a wide range of skills from board-level communication to hands-on trouble shooting at ground level.
Experience of working within the mobile catering/beverage, festival or outdoor events industry would be advantageous.
