Gap Personnel acting as an employment business are seeking an enthusiastic, dynamic General Manager to oversee the daily running of a well-established, family-run business based in Swindon.
Our client are looking for a highly motivated and resourceful General Manager, who will help the company to grow from strength to strength by ensuring strategic development and commercial success of the site.
First class interpersonal skills are essential, as the General Manager will be responsible for creating new partnerships with clients and suppliers, maintaining relationships with customers, and most importantly leading an established team who will look to you for guidance and motivation.
Naturally, the role itself is varied but typical responsibilities include:
Day-to-day running of the business
Leading and motivating the team
Liaising with clients and building rapports with suppliers
Constantly striving to improve processes within the company
Acting as an escalation point for queries
Maximising sales and growth across the business
The ideal candidate:
Minimum 3 years of previous experience in a similar role in the UK
A strong background of revenue generation and yield management is essential
A leader with a hands-on approach
Able to deliver accurate sales and labour forecasting, reporting figures as requested in a timely manner; Able to see the big picture and respond to adapt resources appropriately.
