Health and Safety Advisor
£40k-£45k per annum

Our client based on the Wrexham Industrial Estate are looking to recruit a Health and Safety Advisor. Reporting to the Health and Safety Manager you will be responsible for supporting with the below duties.
Performance Objectives
- Ensure Company compliance with safety and environmental statutory requirements.
- Facilitate improvements in safety and environmental performance, behaviour and culture.
- Manage and ensure compliance with our Management System and Environmental 14001 standard.
- Manage safety and environmental investigation processes.
- Provide professional advice and support to Line Managers and Employees.
- Help develop and implement best practice.
- Conduct training, as required.
- Support the promotion of wellbeing initiatives.
Person Specification
- Excellent interpersonal skills including influencing.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Able to work collaboratively and flexibly with a positive ‘can do’ attitude.
- Attention to detail.
- Open to training and development opportunities which will be provided and supported.
- A keen safety and environmental professional with NEBOSH/IOSH qualification or prepared to work towards these qualifications.
- Working knowledge of ISO 14001 standard.
- Our client is an ISO 9001 site, so experience in this area would be advantageous.
