gap personnel (operating as an employment agency) are currently recruiting for our client based in the Deeside area. Our client is looking for a highly skilled and experienced HGV repair technician with commercial vehicle experience for a busy body shop in Deeside, on a permanent basis. This is a friendly, team orientated workshop, focused on quality not quantity. They hold approvals for all the main insurance and accident management companies, Mercedes van and HGV approvals and carry out accident repair work for the main truck and van dealerships in the North West and North Wales. Package dependent on candidate skills and abilities.



Responsibilities and Duties

Working alongside our current experienced team members, your role will involve structural and chassis repairs on a wide range of commercial vehicles from buses, coaches, plant, machinery and trucks. Experience with specialist repair jigs such as the Cellette Seven, Korek Floor System Josam chassis and cab jigs will be crucial, knowledge of straightening and measuring using the Josam Laser system is essential. A wide range of welding skills, MIG, TIG and arc will be beneficial.


Qualifications and Skills

The ability to demonstrate skills in high quality mechanical and structural repairs. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and looking to challenge their abilities repairing what some may say is 'unrepairable'
