Job Role:  Hidestore Operative (slaughter hall)   

Hours: Monday to Friday 7am to finish (usually 8h work)

Hourly Salary: £11ph

Role Type: Temporary ongoing

gap personnel acting as an employment agency are currently recruiting for 3x Hidestore Operatives for Irish well know food company. The company we are working in partnership with is growing year on year and currently expanding across all departments.

Job Responsibilities as Hidestore Operative  

  • Weighing Hides to the grade parameters
  • Moving hides into stacks for salting
  • Folding the hides into the graded pallets
  • Adhering to health and safety policies and procedures
  • Good Housekeeping
  • Communicate with your team
  • Responsible for reporting back to the Slaughter Hall Manager with any issues.
  • Stock Taking and stock rotation regarding first in first out.
  • Picking hides for loading
