gap personnel acting as an employment business are recruiting for production operatives for a fast growing FMCG company based in Chippenham. This role is on a full-time basis starting temporary with permanent opportunities available for the right candidates.


The site offers superb, modern production facilities and operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You will work closely with the shift leaders and senior management to ensure each product is prepared, packaged, and dispatched on time for customer delivery.


Working hours & pay rate:

  • 0600-1400 Monday to Friday - £10 per hour
  • 10-1800 Monday to Friday – £10 per hour
  • 1400-2200 Monday to Friday - £11.11 per hour
  • 2200-0600 Monday to Friday - £11.52 (inc attendance bonus)


Reporting directly to the shift leader your duties will included:

•To assist in the completion of all orders set out on the plan as requested by the Manager / Supervisor / Team Leader through the correct work rate from packing or machine operation.

•At all times it is important that you comply with the company rules and always work safely.

•To ensure that food materials handled by you are safe, legal and of the quality expected by the business and customer.

•To promote a culture of dignity and respect amongst staff

•Work as part of a team and carry out tasks according to instructions.

•Only operate machinery that you have been trained to use..

•Ensure correct manual handling techniques are followed at all times.

•To comply with all hygiene and food safety procedures


The ideal candidate:

  • No previous experience is required for this role as training is provided
  • Good communication skills
  • Have the ability to work alone or as part of a team
  • Have a strong work ethic and be keen to learn new skills
  • Due to location you will either need to drive or live local.
