We are looking for a full time HR Admin Assistant for a permanent position we have in Basildon.

This is for one of the key companies supporting Basildon and Thurrock Hospitals, Southend Hospital and more than 200 GP practices. It provides services to a population of 750,000 in the East of England and performs around 56,000 tests every day and employ over 200 staff.

Based off-site in Basildon, Essex, their our purpose-built, state-of-the-art hub laboratory undertakes consolidated, harmonised, routine testing as well as an increasing range of specialist laboratory work. This leaves the hospitalbased essential Service Laboratories to focus on urgent clinical laboratory tests, which require a fast turnaround time. 

The role will requiere  all general HR administrative support :

  •  Pre-employment checks including applying for DBS 
  •  Right to work checks and references are completed in a timely manner
  • HR System accurately reflects current staff conditions and details
  • Inputting starters, leavers, contractual amendments, change of details and other administration required
  • On-boarding: - taking documents and running check on new staff                   
  •                     - prepare and issuing offer letters with supporting documentation
  •                     - right to work checks and references are completed in a timely manner
  • Maintenance of personnel files and filing system for all new starters
  • Accurately processing and checking data on HR System in relation to all new starters
  • Recruitment: - interview are arranged and conducted
  •                     - shortlisting of candidates and scheduling interviews
  • Working with the Recruitment Advisor to draft recruitment advertisements and other materials for agreement,

We are looking to run face to face interviews asap for this role, if successful you will complete and on line induction and work a 3 month probation with the agency before being taken permanent. 

40 hours per week, Monday to Friday with no weekends. 08.30 to 17.00
