Salary: £26,000 - £29,000 Depending on experience
Hours: Monday – Friday 9:00am to 17:00pm
We have a fantastic opportunity available for a HR & Payroll Advisor based in the Swindon area.
You will be responsible for assisting with the delivery of the employee relations service to the company’s management structure.
Main Responsibilities include:
The provision of training and advice on company policies and procedures
Providing comprehensive, effective and efficient support an administration of the HR function with the organisation
Building excellent working relationships with managers and building credibility quickly
Advising and supporting staff and line managers on HR/Payroll matters, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
Maintaining and developing forms and systems, demonstrating discretion, diplomacy and confidentiality always.
Being the first point of contact for all HR and payroll queries
Can work independently and be pro-active
Have a meticulous eye for detail
Be friendly and approachable
Be able to prioritise own work load
Have a level of flexibility and be flexible and adaptable to change
Be reliable and trustworthy
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Have enthusiasm for self-learning and development
Knowledge and Experience:
Good general knowledge of employment law and practices
Graduate and/or CIPD part or fully qualified
Experience of negotiating and dealing with external agencies
Good IT skills
