Gap personnel (operating as an employment business) are currently recruiting for our client based in the Deeside area. We are looking to recruit a Print Machine Operator on a Permanent basis to join our clients team. 

 

Our client provides sustainable recycled paper, corrugated cardboard and flexible packaging manufacturing solutions as well as solutions for waste management and the recovery of waste.

 

Salary: £24.969 inc shift premium.

Contract: Full time, permanent. 24/7 shift Rota pattern.

 

Responsibilities

Ensuring that high quality of inks are made and maintained

Understanding the customer requirements for colour specification and ensuring that they are met to the highest possible standard.

Operate in line with site health and safety, environmental and quality standards

Make and prepare all inks for production

Identify any ink that has been used and returned ready for subsequent runs

Reduce press downtime to a minimum.

Maintain the distillation plant and optimise waste inks and solvent, ensuring waste generated is minimised as much as possible

 

Required Experience

• Fork Lift Truck license essential

• X-rite equipment trained

• Demonstrable knowledge of working with Print Colors

• Good understanding of continuous improvement techniques, e.g., lean & 5S
