My client based in the Wrexham area are currently looking for a Helpdesk Coordinator to join their team on a permanent basis.  The role of the Helpdesk Coordinator is to provide excellent customer service whilst ensuring systems are well maintained and performing effectively.

 

Remuneration package

 

£20,000 - £23,000k per annum
Monday – Friday / Office Hours  

 

The role:

 

First responder to incoming tickets, escalating tickets to second/third line if issue cannot be resolved at first instance.
Escalate these issues with external supplier of product or service dependent on support contracts in place
Provide excellent customer Service by communicating effectively with Users, management and external suppliers.
Attend company site visits to maintain the IT Infrastructure, support and build relationships at all sites within the group.
Assist with project assignments and work set out by the company, you will be expected to assist in these as and when required.
Monitor and maintain the companies IT Infrastructure
Monitoring all systems, escalating any concerns to the team.
Maintain through proactive patch management and software upgrades.
Test systems are working effectively by performing weekly assessments outlined in the IT policy and procedures.
Installation of hardware, software and cabling.
Monitoring all systems, escalating any concerns to the team.

PC, Laptop, Server (Virtual & Physical)
Network Switches, Routers, Cabling
Software installs adhering to software licence agreements
Maintaining IT Documentation/Databases with regards any new installations or changes to current systems

 

The ideal candidate will have:

 

A full UK driving license is required
Previous experience of working in a similar role
It is essential to have either degree or a-level equivalent qualification within IT
