You will be supporting a group of clients with multiple needs, including homelessness, mental health and substance abuse. Your main responsibility will be giving comprehensive assistance to those in your care and encouraging them to participate in all recommended activities. This will result in the clients moving on from the Service, having developed strong daily life skills.
The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience as either a Key Worker or Support Worker. They must be comfortable with lone working and be willing to embrace all aspects of the role, which can include personal care, domestic tasks and the running of daily activities. The individual must be calm, patient and understanding.
This is an excellent opportunity for those who have worked within the Mental Health sector and are looking to broaden their experience.
Working Hours: Either 2000-0800 or 0800-2000 or 0900-1700
Pay: £8.75-£9.50ph DOE
