My client a leading juice manufacturing company based in Ledbury are currently recruiting for labourer assistant to work on temp to perm basis .

We are looking for a motivated, responsible individual to join their small team of technical and production personnel working to BRC standards.

The Laboratory Assistant you will be working within the technical team and will be responsible for testing, monitoring and product release throughout the manufacturing process, to ensure finished product is within specification and complies with all policies and work instructions.

Key duties include

·Carrying out quality analysis within on-site test laboratory, compiling, analysing & interpreting results.

·Approve & release forward for production

·Equipment testing & Calibrations

·Raw Material quality checks

·Assisting with accurate completion of documents & record keeping.

·Working closely with the Technical department to create and maintain up to date, clear internal specifications and associated work instructions.

·Internal auditing / checks.

·Member of HACCP team.

·Provide administrative support to the Technical team.

·General cleaning & hygiene of Lab

Looking for someone who is a team player, with a desire to learn and to take responsibility for their own work. Has a high level of attention to detail, with good communication skills. Has the ability to work within a small team and also individually. Must be IT literate, including MS office.

Ideally educated to RFQ level 3 in a food science / technology or science discipline or have previous experience in a food/drink manufacturing technical environment.

MUST have driving license with own transport, due to rural location.

Hours may vary depending on production. 40-45 hours a week. Weekend work may be required in peak seasons.

Hourly rate of pay circa £9.50

Monday- Friday 0800-1700
