Gap personnel acting as an employment agency for our client local to town centre have fantastic opportunities for warehouse operatives to join their team on a temporary ongoing basis. For the right candidates there are permanent roles available and progression within a fast growing business.


Pay rates:

£9 per hour on rotational shift pattern and £10.25 per hour on nights

Overtime paid at £13.50 per hour with a competitive productivity bonus of up to £105 per week.


Working hours:

Rotational - 0700-1500/1500-2300

Nights – 2300-0700

Our client is operational 7 days per week so weekend work is required.


The role:

  • These roles involve working within a freezer environment, so you do need to be comfortable working in cold temperatures (15 minute break every hour to re-climatise)
  • Ensuring loading bays are kept clear ready for new deliveries
  • Breaking down pallets after orders
  • Sorting any recycling
  • General warehouse duties

The ideal candidate:

  • Be flexible with working hours and overtime when required
  • Be comfortable working in cold environments
  • Have a basic level of English for health and safety.


For these roles all training will be provided, and the work will be ongoing until at least Christmas. They have free on-site parking and subsidised canteen providing hot and cold food.
