A fantastic opportunity to join an international automotive production company, as part of their Logistics department has arisen.

My client is looking to add to its' team, and although this position is initially a 3 month position, there is a strong possibility of this beoming a much longer term position.

The ideal candidate must have experience of working in a fast paced Logistics Department, must have a valid Counter Balance FLT licence and experience of working with SAP

Skills required:

PC & L experience preferably automotive

Warehouse and Lean experience

Counter Balance FLT 

SAP database experience

Excellent communication skills and good people management skills

Good knowledge of Excel, Word, Power point and Outlook

Ability to work under pressure, paying attention to detail to accuracy, prioritising work load and meeting deadlines

Duties include (but not limited to):

Manage Logistics function ensuring continuity of production and the man management of the FLT fleet and Logistics operatives. Ensure 5S principles are followed and that the areas of responsibility provide a safe working environment. Ensure that all Raw Material is received, booked in and stored. Plus, all Finished Parts are stored and Picked/Despatched in a safe manner. Act as the main liaison between the plant and the other 2 UK plants  and dealing with issues as and when they arise.
