Gap Personnel (operating as an employment business) are currently recruiting for Production/Machine Operating Assistants to join a leading aerospace, manufacturing company based in Exeter.

Our client is a world-class producer of aero engine and industrial gas turbine components, including air foils, rings, disks and forgings. With their products being manufactured in Exeter and distributed throughout the UK and worldwide.

Due to an increase in workload, our client is seeking new members to join their weekend shift team. This is a long term, temporary position for the right candidate.

Our client is offering rotating shifts during training in the beginning on rates varying from £10.71 – £11.68.

Shifts:

·Monday to Friday 06:00 – 14:00

·Monday to Friday 14:00 – 22:00

·Monday to Friday 22:00 – 06:00

After training 30 Hour shifts with rates varying from £12.17 - £12.66

Shifts:

·Friday to Monday 14:00 – 22:00

·Friday to Monday 22:00 – 06:00

Previous experience of operating industrial machines is an advantage, but not essential as full training will be provided.

However, you will need to be organised, reliable, methodical and logical, as well as self-motivated with good attention to detail and awareness of surroundings, adhering to strict health and safety.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience within:

·Dexterous, small component assembly or physical and heavy lifting work 

·Finishing, inspection or production environment


Please note while training you will be working on a rotational Monday to Friday shift before going onto Friday to Monday.
