gap personnel are currently recruiting for our established client based on the outskirts of Swindon for production operatives.
This role is temporary with the view to go permanent and is an excellent opportunity for a candidate who is looking to develop within a warehouse environment as you will be fully trained throughout their warehouse and production processes.
Working hours: Monday-Friday 0700-1500 with overtime available within peak periods
Pay rate is depending on experience, up to £9.10 per hour.

The role:
The role is based within a production environment where machinery is constantly running so you need to be comfortable working within a noisy environment all day
You will be fully trained on the job you will have the opportunity to be trained on the all machines
General finishing duties to include assembly, material stripping and gluing
Moving and lifting items
The ideal candidate:
Be comfortable with hand balling, physical work and picking and unloading by hand when required
You must have your own transport (car or bike) due to location, there is no public bus routes available to the industrial estate
Must be self-motivated to work on his/her own for part of the day.
Able to prioritise and multitask.
Be comfortable working in a fast pace, noisy and busy production area
Flexible to working methods and keen to learn new skills.
Be comfortable operating industrial sized factory machinery
Experience in the following industries could be advantageous:
• Sheet Metal Fabrication.
• Printing.
• Injection moulding.
When you are offered a permanent contract you will be entitled to 23 days + bank holidays holiday days per year and the business also closes over the Christmas period.
