On behalf of an innovative & well-established manufacturer with a global customer base, we are seeking a tenacious & determined National Account Manager to join the expanding U.K team.

With a home-base set up (Laptop, phone, printer etc provided), you will be responsible for developing new business & expertly managing existing customer accounts to maximise spend and ensure customer satisfaction.

 

To achieve this, you will be required to travel extensively throughout the U.K to build & maintain relationships, introduce products and expand supply of the company’s unique, life-preserving products.

You will also be required to spend 1 day per month at the company’s premises in North Wales, as well as travelling to the U.S & Israel approximately 2 times a year.

The nature of this role requires applicants to hold a full U.K driving licence with no more than …. Points and a valid EU passport. A background in medical device/product sales or training will be advantageous.

 

Reporting to the European Sales Director, your key duties will include:

Researching prospective accounts in targeted markets, pursuing leads and following through to a successful agreement
Understanding target markets, including industry, company, project, company contacts and which marketing strategies can be used to attract clients
Collaborating with the research and development, production and sales support teams to ensure that requirements are met
Maintaining relationships with current clients and identifying new prospects
Following industry developments and keeping abreast of competitor activity

 

Experience & Attributes Sought:

A progressive background in field-based, business development/product management/account management (Medical or Safety Product experience would be advantageous)
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to assess customer requirements & build rapport at all levels
High levels of motivation, drive & tenacity – able to work independently and develop a solid sales strategy in line with business objectives and target market
Willingness & ability to travel extensively throughout the U.K with some International travel required as above.

Hours of work: 37.5 per week (Some flexibility to cover weekend trade shows when required – day in lieu attributed)

Remuneration: Basic salary of £33,000 + OTE (c£6k), Company Car & home set-up, contributory pension scheme (matched to 5%), 24 days annual leave (plus statutory) & worldwide travel insurance
